House Plans

As you all know, we have been staying with my in-laws since we arrived in the States the first of March. We have been continually looking for our own house, and we have recently found 3 we liked. We took my in-laws to view our top choices over the weekend, to help us narrow it down. Well, we did narrow it down, and tonight we signed an contract, offering a bid on the house. The sellers have until the 31st to decide if they'll accept it or not. So, by Thursday evening we should know whether or not we'll be moving there.


The house itself is on the bigger side- about 2900 square feet. It sits on a small, 1/4 acre lot but it is in a development next to John Rudy Park, so that is nice. It has a grown tree line in the backyard, and though there are a lot of houses in the neighborhood, it seems rather quiet. The location is good, despite being a little further north than anticipated, it is only 10 minutes to the highway and mall, restaurants, etc. We are quite pleased with it overall and look forward to knowing the result of our offer.
